Bolton Clarke Group is seeking a part-time Lifestyle Assistant to support residents at Capella Bay (Capalaba) and Moreton Shores (Thornlands). The role is 3 days per week, 8:00am–4:00pm.

You will engage residents, assist with outings, manage mobility aids, and help with wheelchair transfers while maintaining safety and service quality. A strong team environment and diversity commitment are offered.

Qualificações

• Requires a minimum LR endorsement on driver licence.
• NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
• Experience using lifting equipment and assistive devices is desirable.
• Ability to use computer software (Word and Excel).
• Complete a police check before commencing.

Responsabilidades

• Engaging with residents, encouraging and supporting them to engage in outings.
• Load equipment and resident shopping into the bus; assist with mobility aids.
• Fold/unfold mobility aids.
• Stay with residents to allow staff to attend to others' needs.
• Assist with simple mobilising, including pushing a wheelchair where trained.
• Share feedback with the Lifestyle Officer/Coordinator at the end of shift.
• Deliver high level of customer service, ensuring timely provision of services.
• Drive in accordance with road and safety requirements and maintain due care.

The Role

In this role, you'll support our teams across two locations, Capella Bay (Capalaba) and Moreton Shores (Thornlands). This is a part time opportunity, working 3 days per week from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

• Engaging with residents, encouraging and supporting them to engage in the outing
• Putting equipment (e.g. mobility aids) and resident shopping into the bus
• Folding and unfolding mobility aids
• Staying with residents to allow staff to attend to other's needs
• Aiding residents with simple mobilisation including pushing a resident in a wheelchair (where trained to do so)
• Share feedback with the Lifestyle Officer / Lifestyle Coordinator at the end of your shift
• Deliver a high level of customer service, including the timely provision of agreed services to residents
• Drive in accor dance with road and safety requirements maintaining due care at all times

To be successful:

• Requires a minimum LR endorsement on driver licence. MR, HR, HC & MC are also acceptable.
• Previous experience using lifting equipment and assistive devices (desirable)
• Ability to use computer software (Word and Excel)
• Experience with wheelchair access vehicles and wheelchair tie down system, (desirable)
• NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
• Complete a police check
