Accord Property Services – is an ISO-accredited provider of facilities management and service solutions across the strata, o﬋ice, health, leisure, education and government sectors.

Accord is experiencing significant growth, and we are seeking a motivated, professional and experienced Hybrid Building Manager to join our team.

In this dynamic role, you will oversee the operation, maintenance, and compliance of a portfolio of buildings located across Northwest and Northeast Sydney. Unlike traditional building management roles confined to a single site, this position offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work across multiple locations — keeping the work fresh, engaging, and far from repetitive.

You will play a critical role in ensuring each asset operates safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Accord and client expectations.

A competitive salary package including a fully maintained company car will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Multi-Site Facility Management

Oversee day-to-day building operations across multiple Sydney locations. Conduct regular site visits to ensure each building is safe, functional and well presented.

Implement and manage maintenance programs tailored to each facility.

Coordinate and supervise external suppliers including maintenance contractors, cleaners, landscapers and security personnel.

Ensure contractors meet agreed performance, compliance and quality standards across all sites.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Maintain thorough knowledge of building codes, WHS requirements and compliance obligations.

Conduct safety audits across all buildings, identify risks and implement corrective actions promptly.

Stakeholder Engagement

Build strong working relationships with building occupants, owners, strata committees, and other stakeholders.

Act as the primary contact for all building-related concerns for your assigned portfolio.

Ensure scheduled works are completed on time, to scope and to standard across all buildings.

Communicate exceptions, follow-ups and required variations as needed.

Reactive Maintenance Coordination

Receive and action service requests for any building in your portfolio.

Assign, schedule and track actions to meet agreed SLAs and maintain service consistency across sites.

Reporting & Administration

Maintain accurate site records, contractor documentation, service logs, inspection reports and compliance registers.

Provide periodic performance updates and recommendations for improvements.

Team & Contractor Oversight

Provide direction and support to maintenance teams and trades across the portfolio.

Ensure all work is completed safely and to required standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in building or facility management (multi-site experience desirable).

Strong knowledge of building systems, asset maintenance and compliance obligations.

Proficient with CMMS or facility management software.

Experience in scheduling, resource coordination, and contractor management. Familiarity with both hard and soft services.

Experience with project management, engineering or compliance (advantageous).

Awareness of sustainability and energy efficiency best practices.
