Job summary

Bunnings in Brisbane is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a global freight forwarder. The role focuses on bookings, pricing, customer queries, and shipment updates, with data entry in Cargowise and ongoing communication with overseas partners.

You will build relationships, manage order priorities, set up customer rates, generate reports, and handle inquiries while adhering to INCO terms and customs requirements. Salary is $85,000–$100,000 plus super.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months freight forwarding experience with understanding of importing processes including INCO terms, documentation, delivery and customs requirements.
• Customer Service Representative experience
• Cargowise experience required
• Ability to manage competing external and internal priorities
• Clear oral and written communication skills
• Efficient planning and organising skills

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers for bookings, pricing, queries, service options, shipment updates
• Enhance customer experience and foster relationships, improve credibility and loyalty
• Prioritize orders and adjust schedules to meet customer needs
• Maintain accurate data in Cargowise and communicate exceptions/delays to customers
• Liaise with overseas partners & internal colleagues
• Prepare customer rate setups and summary reports
• Handle customer enquiries and quotations
• Distribute incoming emails/documents to internal departments
• Provide courteous service calls
