Job summary

People Group is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage logistics for international shipments from Brisbane, offering a salary up to $100,000 plus super. The role focuses on end-to-end freight management acrossSea, Air, Road and Rail with a strong emphasis on process improvement and stakeholder collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in international logistics, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and a solid understanding of ISO/OHSAS standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or First Degree, or relevant experience.
• Project Coordinator experience.
• 5+ years of International Logistics experience.
• Organize the international transfer of freight.

Responsibilities

• Handle logistics for projects and regular shipments by road, air, sea, or others.
• Implement efficient work processes on allocated Projects.
• Quoting, organizing, billing, documentation, operating, and executing shipments door to door.
• Analyze schedule, quality, and performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assess the performance of suppliers/subcontractors.
• Follow ISO and OHSAS directions from the Company.
• Act safely to protect welfare and safety targets.
• Reduce environmental impact per targets.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
• Input to EP&P documentation.
• Engage in Business Continuity Planning / Response.
• Stakeholder interface management.
• Nurture cooperation across team members locally, regionally, and globally.
