Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. in Australia is seeking a Breakfast Cook to join our kitchen team.

You will prepare, produce and present breakfast dishes according to standard recipes and directions from the Head Chef, ensuring high quality and timely service. You will uphold food safety and hygiene per HACCP and local guidelines, maintain grooming standards, and work collaboratively with Commis Chef, Food & Beverage Manager and Attendants.

Qualifications

• Place highest importance to food safety and hygiene per HACCP and local guidelines.
• Prepare, produce and present foods according to standard recipes under supervision.
• Display eagerness to increase food knowledge and skills.
• Strive to minimise food wastage.
• Audits Kitchen stock & grocery lines daily and orders stock as required.

Responsibilities

• Place highest importance to food safety and hygiene of food preparation as outlined in HACCP principles and local guidelines for catering establishments.
• Prepare, produce and present all foods in accordance with identified Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
• Display eagerness to increase food knowledge and skills.
• Strive to minimise food wastage.
• Audits Kitchen stock & grocery lines daily & orders stock as required.
• Maintain grooming and personal hygiene standards and ensure uniforms and name badge are worn.
• Follow tasks to completion and communicate with Chef and team.
