Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Breakfast Cook in a professional kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of breakfast cuisine and techniques (grilling, frying, poaching, plating).
• Ability to work efficiently during high-volume service while maintaining quality and safety.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritise multiple orders.
• Solid understanding of food hygiene, allergens and health and safety in food prep.
• Strong communication and teamwork with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency across all breakfast service periods
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations and Golosa's established protocols
• Manage mise en place and maintain an organised, clean and efficient workstation throughout service
• Work efficiently during peak breakfast periods whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff and other kitchen team members to deliver excellent customer experiences
• Respond promptly to special dietary requirements and customer requests
• Monitor stock levels and communicate with management regarding ingredient orders and kitchen supplies
• Contribute to maintaining kitchen hygiene standards and assist with cleaning duties as required
• Support the development of breakfast menu items and provide input on seasonal specials
