Job summary

The Kitchen Table in Foster is seeking a dedicated Breakfast Cook to lead our busy morning service. You’ll own the breakfast menu, fry up bacon and eggs any way, assemble hearty breakfast plates, and help keep the kitchen running smoothly.

As a genuine team player in a small cafe, you’ll jump in wherever needed, stay calm during rushes, assist with prep and stock, and ensure every plate leaves the kitchen looking and tasting great.

Qualifications

• Experience in cafe or breakfast cooking is helpful.

Love the sizzle of bacon first thing in the morning? Can you crack out a perfect fried egg and build a burger people talk about all week? The Kitchen Table in Foster wants you in our kitchen!

We’re a busy, friendly local cafe with a loyal crowd of regulars, weekend visitors and everyone in between. We’re on the lookout for a cook to take charge of our breakfast service and keep those plates flying out the door.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll own the breakfast menu, serving up the classics done right: bacon, eggs every way, hearty breakfast plates and our burgers. You’ll keep the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly, help with prep and stock, and lend a hand wherever the day needs it.

Who we’re looking for

A genuine team player who loves a bit of buzz in the kitchen. You’re an all rounder who’s happy to jump in on whatever needs doing, stays calm when the orders stack up, and takes pride in putting out great food every time. Cafe or breakfast cooking experience will help you hit the ground running.
