Job summary

ConKaBar in Burleigh Heads is hiring a cook to join our small family-run cafe by day and cocktail bar by night. You will run service solo, from prep to close, and also cook our tapas menu at night.

We value reliability, organisation and a calm approach under pressure, with strong food safety practices and clear communication with the owners. Immediate start, on-site role at Burleigh Heads.

Cook — ConKaBar, Burleigh Heads

ConKaBar is a small family-run café by day and cocktail bar by night in Burleigh Heads. We are looking for a cook who knows breakfast inside out to join our kitchen.

You will be running service on your own, so we need someone confident, organised and calm under pressure who does not need someone looking over their shoulder.

You will also cook our tapas menu at night. If you can handle a busy breakfast rush, the night menu will come easily and we will show you the ropes.

What you will bring:

• Solid breakfast experience: eggs every way, a busy brunch rush, consistent plates


• The ability to run the kitchen solo, from prep through to close-down


• Willingness to work both morning and night services
