Rydges Sydney Central is seeking an experienced full-time Breakfast Chef to join our team, focusing on breakfast and lunch service in a lively hotel setting. You will work in a small team delivering a premium breakfast buffet and supporting the wider kitchen operations.

Ideal candidates have proven experience in busy hotel or club environments, bulk cooking and buffet setup, plus strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to train junior staff while staying calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a busy hotel, club or similar environment.
• Experience across different sections with bulk cooking and buffet setup.
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff and maintain consistency.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Attention to detail, well-presented and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure, while delivering a high standard.
