Coates Townsville is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead a team of customer and service professionals, delivering outstanding service while safely managing operations.

You will drive branch performance across customer service, workshop, transport and asset management, coaching and developing your team to achieve revenue, profitability, safety, utilisation and customer retention targets. Strong leadership and commercial acumen are essential.

At Coates Townsville, our Branch Manager performs a highly valued and critical role, leading a team of customer and service professionals to safely deliver outstanding service to our customers.

You will be successful in this role because you relate well to people, can motivate, mentor and develop your team to be its best, operate cohesively as a team and care deeply about the service delivered to Coates’ customers.

You will enjoy a variety in your role including:

Lead branch operations encompassing customer service, workshop, transport, and asset management functions.

• Managed employee performance, recruitment, coaching, and development.
• Delivered branch performance against revenue, profitability, safety, utilisation, and customer retention targets.
• Built strong customer relationships and developed new business opportunities.
• Managed fleet availability and utilisation to meet market demand.

Maintained compliance with operational, safety, and audit requirements.

• Manage branch P&L’s and KPI’s around fleet availability, fleet utilisation and customer loyalty.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Sales and operational management experience
• Previous team leadership experience and developing a ‘One Team’ cohesive mindset
• A track record of delivering on KPIs
• Demonstrated commercial acumen
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong computer literacy, including customer databases and Microsoft Office Suite
