Coates Hire Operations Pty Limited in Western Australia is seeking an energetic Branch Manager at the Welshpool branch to lead a high-performing team, strengthen customer relationships and drive strong operational performance. This hands-on leadership role offers autonomy to make a real difference locally while benefiting from the support of a national equipment hire provider.

You will coach, manage budgets and KPIs, uphold safety standards and partner with regional teams to deliver outstanding

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in equipment hire or similar field.
• Proven ability to engage, coach and develop people to achieve results.
• Commercial confidence with budgets, KPIs, P&L.
• Customer-first approach and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strong problem-solving, sound judgement and decision-making.
• Excellent communication and computer literacy.

• Drive branch performance across revenue, profitability, fleet utilisation, availability and customer satisfaction.
• Build strong relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities to grow the business.
• Oversee fleet, workshop and asset readiness so equipment is safe, reliable and available when customers need it.
• Manage budgets, P&L performance and key branch metrics, using data to make sound commercial decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Coates’ Zero Harm standards, policies and operational procedures.
• Partner with regional and support teams to deliver consistent service and continuous improvement.

The Welshpool branch is looking for an energetic and commercially minded Branch Manager to lead our team, strengthen customer relationships and drive outstanding operational performance.

• Clear communication skills and strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM or customer management systems.
