Rexel Geelong is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Branch Manager to lead our branch team and oversee the day-to-day operations of the business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a people-focused leader who can build strong customer relationships, drive sales performance and create a positive, safe and high-performing branch environment.

As Branch Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our customers across the electrical, trade and commercial sectors while developing your team and contributing to the continued growth of the Geelong branch.

A Bit About Your Role

• Leading, coaching and developing the Geelong branch team
• Creating a positive, accountable and customer-focused team culture
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the branch across sales, warehouse, inventory and customer service
• Driving branch sales, profitability and customer growth
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, suppliers and industry partners
• Identifying new business opportunities and supporting the team to achieve sales targets
• Working closely with Territory Sales Managers and the wider Rexel network to maximise customer and commercial outcomes
• Champion an already strong safety culture.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about people, customers and achieving strong commercial results.

You Will Be

• An experienced Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, Sales Manager or Senior Sales professional
• Demonstrated experience leading a team in a sales, branch, retail, wholesale, trade or distribution environment
• A proven people leader who can motivate, coach and develop a team
• Commercially minded, with a strong focus on sales, customers and business performance
• Confident building relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities in a busy branch environment
• A strong communicator with effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Accountable, proactive and committed to achieving results
• Customer-focused, with a genuine desire to deliver an excellent customer experience
• Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining high operational standards
• A team player who leads by example and is willing to get involved where required
• Passionate about developing people and creating opportunities for career growth
