Job summary

Coates is seeking a Branch Manager for our Welshpool branch in Western Australia. Lead a high-performing, customer-focused team, drive safety and operational excellence, and manage branch performance including revenue and fleet utilization.

You will nurture customer relationships, oversee fleet readiness, and collaborate with regional teams to deliver consistent service and growth opportunities. This is a hands-on leadership role with autonomy and strong support from a leading equipment hire

Qualifications

• Experience leading equipment hire or operational teams.
• Proven ability to coach and develop people to achieve strong results.
• Commercial confidence with budgets, KPIs and P&L responsibility.
• Customer-first mindset and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strong problem-solving, judgement and decision-making in fast-paced environments.
• Clear communication and proficient computer literacy (MS Office, CRM).
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and customer service standards.

The Welshpool branch is looking for an energetic and commercially minded Branch Manager to lead our team, strengthen customer relationships and drive outstanding operational performance.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and knows how to turn a good branch into a great one. What you’ll bring

• Leadership experience in equipment hire, industrial services, trades, logistics, transport or another operational environment.
• A proven ability to engage, coach and develop people to achieve strong results.
• Commercial confidence, including experience with budgets, KPIs, P&L or branch performance.
• A customer-first approach and the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgement and the confidence to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication skills and strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM or customer management systems.
• A genuine commitment to safety, teamwork and doing what’s right for customers and colleagues.
