Job summary

Coates Fyshwick in Canberra is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a team of customer and service professionals, driving safety, service quality and branch performance. You will mentor staff, deliver on KPIs and manage fleet operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and operations management.
• Proven track record delivering on KPIs and revenue targets.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to build a cohesive team.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for branch performance with a focus on safety and KPIs (revenue, fleet utilisation, loyalty).
• Ensure the safety of the team and customers.
• Motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and a positive culture.
• Create quotes, raise purchase orders and enter hire agreements.
• Oversee Asset Management.

At Coates Fyshwick, our Branch Manager performs a highly valued and critical role, leading a team of customer and service professionals to safely deliver outstanding service to our customers.

You will be successful in this role because you relate well to people, can motivate, mentor and develop your team to be its best, operate cohesively as a team and care deeply about the service delivered to Coates’ customers.

You Will Enjoy a Variety In Your Role Including

• Accountability for branch performance with a focus on safety and achieving KPI’s associated with revenue, fleet utilisation and customer loyalty.
• Ensuring the safety of your team and Coates customers
• Guide and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service – a happy customer will be a returning customer!
• Create the best solution / outcome for our customers– develop quotes, raise purchase orders and enter hire agreements.
• Oversee Asset Management

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• Sales and operational management experience
• Previous team leadership experience and developing a ‘One Team’ cohesive mindset
• A track record of delivering on KPIs
• Demonstrated commercial acumen
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong implementation of a positive culture
• Strong computer literacy, including customer databases and Microsoft Office Suite
