Job summary

Bank of Melbourne is seeking a Customer Service Advisor for the 360 Bourke St branch in Melbourne. You will welcome customers, discuss financial goals, and provide tailored banking solutions in person and over the phone.

The role is full-time, branch-based with hours across and including Monday to Friday, offering comprehensive training and clear progression within the Westpac Group network.

Qualifications

• Customer service and sales experience, ideally in a customer-facing / phone-based role with experience of working to targets.
• Resilience to stay calm and composed while handling challenging situations.
• Comfortable working towards sales/referral targets and calling customers over the phone.
• Numerical capability, with proficiency in cash handling and counting, and accurate financial transactions.
• Enthusiastic and adaptable to new banking procedures and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the branch and engage in meaningful conversations to uncover needs.
• Provide tailored banking solutions using product knowledge, in person or by phone.
• Refer customers to specialised Banking teams when appropriate.
• Participate in a friendly, professional environment and meet service targets.
