Job summary

Rexel Electrical Supplies in Australia is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run day-to-day operations in Nambour and to deliver outstanding service to our customers in the electrical wholesale sector.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will coach and support the team, build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, promote a safety-first culture, and drive continuous improvement to strengthen branch performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with an interest in sales and operational excellence
• Proactive approach and a strong desire to learn and develop your career
• Experience leading, mentoring or supporting others is desirable
• Experience in electrical wholesaling, trades, or the building and construction industry will be highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive friendly, efficient and professional service
• Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and internal and external stakeholders
• Provide guidance, coaching and support to help foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture
• Support compliance with company procedures and contribute to a strong safety-first culture
• Work closely with the Branch Manager and team to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to branch performance through a hands-on and team-focused approach
