Job summary

Rexel Australia is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Nambour branch to support day-to-day operations and help lead a high-performing team. You will ensure friendly, efficient service and build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and external stakeholders.

You will coach and guide the team, uphold safety and procedures, and work with the Branch Manager to drive improvements and operational excellence in a busy electrical wholesaling environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on service excellence.
• Experience leading or mentoring others is desirable.
• Experience in electrical wholesaling, trades, or building/construction industry is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive friendly, efficient and professional service.
• Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
• Provide guidance, coaching and support to foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture.
