John Valves Pty Ltd is seeking a Production Coordinator who will translate the production schedule into complete job packs with accurate BOMs, work orders, and drawings. You will track progress through production and serve as the main contact for sales order status inquiries.

You will progressively improve the work order and BOM library while collaborating with production, warehouse, purchasing and engineering, and you may cover the Production Planner and Purchasing Officer during absences to

Qualificações

• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes with BOMs and work orders.
• Experience creating and maintaining work orders and Bills of Materials in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and revision control.
• Experience with an ERP manufacturing module (JIWA preferred).
• Understanding of material grades and steel specs relevant to valve manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating production, warehouse and purchasing.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple jobs at various stages.
• Able to liaise with floor, engineering, purchasing, warehouse and sales teams.
• Comfortable working with incomplete data and asking clarifying questions.

Responsabilidades

• Compile complete job packs for every production job, including accurate work orders and BOMs.
• Receive production orders, raise work orders in JIWA, create BOMs, and improve the BOM library.
• Pull correct engineering drawings, confirm revisions, print and attach to job packs.
• Review BOMs, check stock in JIWA and with the warehouse, identify shortages and track deliveries.
• Monitor active jobs through production and maintain accurate status.
• Act as the primary contact for sales order status inquiries.
• Collaborate with the Production Planner to fast-track urgent jobs.
• Cross-train to cover the Production Planner and Purchasing Officer as needed.
