Job summary

Core Talent is seeking skilled welders and boilermakers to join its day and afternoon shifts in Brisbane. You will interpret drawings, cut, shape and weld metal components, including heavy plate and structural work.

The role requires Mig/FCAW experience and the ability to read engineering drawings. A Cert. III in engineering or substantial welding experience is preferred.

The successful candidate can expect a modern facility, plenty of overtime and potential ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Cert. III in engineering or significant experience as a welder.
• Ideally experience in heavy fabrication/structural work.
• Mig/FCAW experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Own welding helmet, gloves, hi vis, boots, and basic hand tools.

Your new company has over half a century of experience supplying world class work to companies worldwide. Due to being a recognised name they have had an increase in workload and are looking to add welders and boilermakers to their day and afternoon shifts.

Role

In your new role you will be responsible for interpreting drawings, cutting, shaping, and welding metal components. You will be welding heavy plate and structural components including vertical up welding work.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Cert. III in engineering or significant experience as a welder
