Job summary

Cappro Pacific in Melbourne seeks a Boilermaker/Welder to perform welding tasks on new equipment, carry out crack repairs, and read plans and blueprints in our Production Facility.

You will assist others in the workshop, move equipment, operate a forklift when required, and occasionally travel for away jobs. The role requires a practical, honest worker with a good work ethic and the ability to work across multiple tasks, including occasional customer interactions on-site.

Qualifications

• Cert III Heavy Fabrication/Boilermaker/Welder or equivalent.
• Experience and ability welding high-grade steels highly regarded but not essential.
• Knowledge and experience conducting crack repairs on machinery booms, highly regarded but not essential.
• An honest worker with a good work ethic, essential.
• Happy to help other workshop jobs when required.
• A helpful attitude and the ability to move from job-to-job.
• Drivers license, HR highly regarded.
• The ability and willingness to travel within the state and beyond at times for work.

On Offer

On offer is an excellent Boilermaker position with a quality Heavy Equipment OEM who'll develop you and look after you in the long-term and pay you well in the short term. On offer are starting rates of $50-$55per hour plus over-time at penalty rates, super and training, PPE. Plenty of opportunity to boost the earning with overtime and some away work.
