Job summary

Evermil Pty Ltd is seeking a Boilermaker to join our team in Wollongong area. The role involves reading blueprints, cutting, moulding and welding metal/steel to fix faults and assemble structures, with competence in arc, MIG and TIG welding.

You will follow supervisor instructions and adhere to WHS policies, participating in toolbox talks and other duties as required. The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate III/IV in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or be working towards it, have a White

• WhiteCard for employment in the construction industry
• Forklift licence – Desired not essential
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints/plans for the specifications of the job, including position and dimensions of the parts to be assembled or repaired
• Follow instructions from supervisors
• Cut, mould and weld metal/steel to fix faults, and weld and bolt parts of the structure together
• Competence in arc, MIG and TIG welding
• Use hand tools, flame torches and other machinery to shape, cut and weld sections of metal
• Identify problems and solve them in a timely manner
• Adhere to Work, Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Participate in company toolbox talks
• Other general duties as required
