Job summary

TalentBlue is recruiting Boilermakers and Welders for client sites in Dandenong South and Pakenham. You will bring MIG welding expertise for structural steel and modular fabrication, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

The role offers a consistent full-time roster and the chance to contribute to high-quality products. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, be able to read drawings, and hold a Boilermaker Welder qualification or Cert 3.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years MIG welding experience in structural steel and modular fabrication.
• Qualified Boilermaker Welder with Fabrication or Certificate 3 required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate structural steel components to drawings at site.
• Operate power tools like angle grinders and drills as required.
• Read blueprints and ensure proper tolerances and welds.
• Contribute to modular assembly and site-based fabrication.

Role Overview

We currently have a vacancy for Boilermakers and Welders with a minimum 2 years experience in MIG Welding within Structural Steel and Modular Manufacturing to work at our client sites based out of Dandenong South and Pakenham.

Salary and Hours

• Boilermaker RATE: $52.01 p/h + Super + Required Overtime
• Boilermaker HOURS: Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.30pm
• Welder RATE: $44.20 p/h + Super + Required Overtime
• Welder HOURS: Monday to Friday 7.00am-3.00pm

Requirements

• Full Working Rights in Australia
• Experience with MIG Welding
• Experience Welding & Fabricating Structural Steel Components
• Experience Welding & Fabricating Modulars
• Qualified Boilermaker Welder with Fabrication or Certificate 3
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Safetyconscious
• Good attitude and a high level of work standards
• Apply principles and techniques of marking out
• Identify materials and defects in materials
• Assemble and tack prepared steel to drawing requirements
