Job summary

Hearing Australia is seeking a Community Hearing Advisor in the Sydney area to promote services, coordinate events, and build relationships with the Chinese community and healthcare referrers. You will work with Hearing Centre and Sales teams to attract clients through events and campaigns.

The role demands bilingual English and Mandarin capabilities, a valid driver’s license, and a proactive sales approach.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese desirable.
• Driver licence and reliable vehicle required.
• Sales/marketing background in healthcare is highly desirable but not essential.
• Team player to work with multiple Hearing Australia teams.
• Strong organisational and computer skills; ability to multitask.
• Experience planning events to exceed targets.
• Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Attract new clients through events and national campaigns.
• Conduct outbound call campaigns and nurture referrers such as GP practices, pharmacies, retirement villages and community groups.
• Lead promotional opportunities including hearing checks at screening events and manage stakeholder relationships within the territory.

About the opportunity

This role will support our Hurstville Hearing Centre as well as Chinese community events across greater metropolitan Sydney.

As a Community Hearing Advisor, you will work alongside the local Hearing Centre and Sales teams. You’ll enjoy a variety of activities including attracting new clients to Hearing Australia through running successful events, leveraging national campaigns, conducting outbound call campaigns, and building strong relationships with stakeholders & referrers such as GP practices, retail pharmacies, retirement villages and community groups.

Community Hearing Advisors organise and lead promotional opportunities that include conductinghearing checks at screening events and proactively managing key stakeholders / referrers within their territory.

About you

We believe to be successful in this role you will:

• Be fluent in both English and Mandarin, Cantonese would also be desirable
• Hold a current driver licence and own a reliable vehicle
• Have a sales and marketing background in the healthcare industry (highly desirable but not essential)
• Be a Team Player as you will be working with many different teams throughout Hearing Australia
• Possess strong organisational and computer skills, and the ability to multitask
• Experience with planning events to exceed targets
• Demonstrate excellent people skills, a passion for exceptional customer service and the ability to develop and maintain mutually rewarding relationships with our clients and stakeholders
