Job summary

Hearing Australia is seeking a Community Hearing Advisor to join the Darwin Hearing Centre and Sales teams. You will lead efforts to attract clients through events and national campaigns while building strong relationships with local stakeholders and referrers.

You will run outreach activities such as hearing checks at screening events and coordinate with GP practices, retail pharmacies, retirement villages, and community groups to expand our community reach within your territory.

Qualifications

• Hold a current driver license and own a reliable vehicle.
• Sales and marketing background in healthcare is highly desirable.
• Be a team player and work with multiple Hearing Australia teams.
• Strong organisational and computer skills, with ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Attract new clients to Hearing Australia by running successful events and leveraging national campaigns.
• Conduct outbound call campaigns and build strong relationships with stakeholders and referrers (GP practices, pharmacies, retirement villages, community groups).
• Organise and lead promotional opportunities, including hearing checks at screening events, and manage relationships with key referrers in the territory.

About the opportunity

As a Community Hearing Advisor, you will work alongside the Darwin Hearing Centre and Sales teams.

You’ll enjoy a variety of activities including attracting new clients to Hearing Australia through running successful events, leveraging national campaigns, conducting outbound call campaigns, and building strong relationships with stakeholders & referrers such as GP practices, retail pharmacies, retirement villages and community groups.

Community Hearing Advisors organise and lead promotional opportunities that include conducting hearing checks at screening events and proactively managing key stakeholders / referrers within their territory.

About you

We believe to be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a current driver licence and own a reliable vehicle


• Have a sales and marketing background in the healthcare industry (highly desirable but not essential)


• Be a Team Player as you will be working with many different teams throughout Hearing Australia


• Possess strong organisational and computer skills, and the ability to multitask
