Job summary

Campbelltown City Council is seeking casual Bicycle Education Centre Officers to run the centre on open days and during school programs. You will develop promotional opportunities and assist with program delivery and health promotions.

You should demonstrate First Aid and Resuscitation certificates or willingness to obtain them within three months, plus Child Safety training. A relevant coaching background and experience presenting to school groups are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must have First Aid/Resuscitation certificates or willing to obtain within 3 months.
• Must have Child Safety Training.
• Relevant qualification and/or extensive coaching experience.
• Experience presenting to school/education groups.
• Ability to deliver diverse programs to meet community needs at low cost.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Bicycle Education Centre during open days and school programs.

• Represent the Centre with a customer‑focussed approach and work independently.

$35.00 - $37.89 +25% casual loading + 12% superannuation

About the role:

We are currently seeking casual Bicycle Education Centre Officers who will be responsible for the day to day operation of the Bicycle Education Centre during open days and school programs, developing and instigating promotional and marketing opportunities and assisting with the delivery, operation and attendance of Bicycle Education Centre programs and health promotions.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

Current First Aid Certificate and Resuscitation Certificate, or a willingness to obtain within the first three months of employment

Child Safety Training Certificate

Relevant qualification and/or extensive coaching related experience

Demonstrated experience in presenting to school/education groups

Demonstrated ability to provide a range of programs to meet the community's needs in a cost effective and functional way

Demonstrated customer focussed approach in meeting the specific needs of the community

Demonstrated ability to work independently and be self-motivated

Proven experience with bicycle riding and maintenance

Be available to work a rotational roster between Sunday to Friday
