Qualifications

Overview

We are currently seeking a Bell Services Captain in Crown Sydney. This role is a fast-paced, highly interactive and guest-focused leadership position that will see you supporting a large team of Bell Attendants and Doorpersons in the busy driveway area of the hotel. You will be the main connection between the Bell Services team and our guests, ensuring a smooth and safe flow of vehicles entering and exiting the driveway, as well as providing efficiency in the storing, delivery and pickup of guest luggage. You will work with the larger hotel team to deliver personalised service and an elevated experience to our guests and residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Bell Attendants and Doorpersons in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure smooth and safe vehicle flow on the driveway and manage luggage storage, delivery and pickup
• Collaborate with the hotel team to provide personalised service and elevate guest experiences

Qualifications

To be considered for this role you must:

• Hold an unrestricted NSW driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Be available to work a 24/7 rotating roster including days, nights, weekends and overnights
• Be able to drive a variety of vehicles (manual and automatic)
• Have strong coaching, training, supporting and leadership skills
• Be able to anticipate guests’ needs and promptly handle guest enquiries
• Demonstrate strong multitasking, conflict resolution and negotiation abilities
• Learn and master parking systems and processes
• Develop strong stakeholder relationships across internal and external areas
• Understanding of Opera Hotel Property Management Systems is advantageous
