M8 Support is expanding its allied health team in Newcastle, NSW, offering a hybrid role for Behaviour Support Practitioners. You will deliver person-centred behaviour support, conduct assessments, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote safe, empowering environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in behaviour support and evidence-based interventions.
• Skills in assessment, data collection, and developing person-centred behaviour support plans.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families, support workers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage caseloads with accurate documentation and ethical standards.
• Understanding of NDIS practice standards and safeguarding principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred behaviour support services.
• Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop plans.
• Implement and monitor positive behaviour support plans.
• Collaborate with participants, families, support workers and professionals.
• Provide training and coaching to support teams; monitor outcomes.
• Maintain documentation and comply with quality and safeguarding standards.
