Job summary

Curamoir Healthcare Recruitment is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join the therapy and behaviour support team on the Central Coast/ Newcastle. The role focuses on behavioural assessment, intervention and capacity-building in line with NDIS frameworks.

The successful candidate will work with individuals across the lifespan, collaborate with families and providers, and contribute to evidence-based practice within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioural Science, or related field.
• Registration as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core level or above) is preferred.
• Experience providing positive behaviour support for clients with complex needs.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and person-centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioural assessment and intervention.
• Develop interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans and monitor outcomes.
• Collaborate with individuals, families and service providers to build skills and inclusion.
• Support capacity-building and independence within the community.
