Job summary

Therapy Partners is seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core or Proficient) to join our Queensland team in Ipswich. You’ll work with children, young people and adults with disability, alongside families and support teams, to assess behaviour and implement practical strategies.

The role offers flexible hours (full-time or part-time) with strong clinical supervision, multidisciplinary collaboration and opportunities to help grow our NSW service as the company expands.

Qualifications

• NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission suitability to practise as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core or Proficient).
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
• Strong communication, organisation and report-writing skills.
• Current driver’s licence and required checks (WWCC/NSW WWCC) before commencing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments to understand needs and circumstances.
• Develop individualised Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans.
• Support participants and networks to implement strategies through education, coaching and direct intervention.
• Monitor outcomes and review plans to ensure strategies remain practical and effective.
• Collaborate with families, support providers, clinicians and other stakeholders.
• Promote positive behaviour support and reduce restrictive practices.
• Maintain clinical documentation and required reporting per NDIS Quality and Safeguards.
