Curamoir Healthcare Recruitment seeks a Behaviour Support Practitioner to provide Positive Behaviour Support services to NDIS clients with complex needs. You will work with your Team Leader to assess behaviours of concern and design evidence-based strategies to improve quality of life and reduce restrictive practices.
You will implement and monitor interventions, train families and support workers, and ensure compliance with legislation while promoting empowerment and person-centred care.
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will provide Positive Behaviour Support services to clients under the NDIS with a range of diagnoses and complex support needs. You will work closely with your Team Leader to assess behaviours of concern, identify contributing factors, and design effective evidence-based strategies to improve quality of life, reduce restrictive practices, and help participants achieve their personal goals. Using your clinical knowledge, you will conduct assessments, develop behaviour support plans, and collaborate with families, carers, support workers, and other allied health professionals to deliver holistic and person-centred support.
In this role, you will implement and monitor interventions, provide training and coaching to key stakeholders, and evaluate progress through data analysis and reflective practice. You’ll be responsible for building strong, collaborative relationships with all parties involved in a participant’s care while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and ethical standards. With a focus on empowering individuals and promoting positive outcomes, you’ll contribute to ongoing professional improvement, uphold child safety and wellbeing standards, and actively engage in team learning and development.
