Job summary

Avina is seeking a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner to join the Elizabeth Vale team in South Australia. The role supports a complex caseload across home, school, clinic and community settings, with mentoring responsibilities for less experienced clinicians.

You may participate in FIFO/DIDO rosters to support regional SA communities, with travel and accommodation covered when required. Strong collaboration with families and educators is essential.

Qualifications

• Current NDIS Commission suitability at Proficient level or above.
• Significant Behaviour Support experience, with mentoring or supervision experience highly regarded.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle, as role involves community-based work.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Collaborative and person-centred approach to practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver behaviour support services across home, school, clinic and community settings.
• Manage a complex caseload, including Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans and restrictive practice reporting.
• Provide mentoring, clinical supervision or support to junior colleagues.
• Participate in a FIFO/DIDO roster to support regional SA communities, with travel and accommodation covered.
• Collaborate with families, carers, educators and the broader multidisciplinary team.
• Take part in ongoing professional development and peer collaboration.

About The Role

We're looking for a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our Elizabeth Vale team. Open to full-time and part-time.

As a senior clinician, you'll take on a complex caseload alongside mentoring and supervision responsibilities for less experienced colleagues. You'll be part of a genuinely multidisciplinary team, working alongside OT, Speech Pathology and other allied health disciplines.

You may also participate in a FIFO/DIDO roster to support regional SA communities, with travel and accommodation covered where required.
