Job summary

Avina in Goulburn is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner at Core level or above. Qualifications

• Current NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner suitability at Core level or above.
• Experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support within the NDIS or a related setting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a broader clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-informed, person-centred Behaviour Support across a varied caseload.
• Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop Behaviour Support Plans.
• Support participants, families, carers and other stakeholders to implement meaningful strategies.
• Work across a mix of Goulburn clinic and community settings.
• Build strong relationships with local participants and support networks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues across Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Physiotherapy and other allied health disciplines.
• Manage your own schedule with flexibility and autonomy.
• Participate in supervision, peer collaboration and ongoing professional development.
• Contribute your experience and clinical knowledge within a collaborative Behaviour Support team.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner - Core level or above to join our team in Goulburn.

This role offers a genuine mix of clinic and community-based Behaviour Support, giving you the opportunity to work with participants in our local Goulburn clinic as well as within their homes and community environments.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your day and build strong relationships with participants, families and local support networks, while still having access to the clinical support, supervision and resources of our broader multidisciplinary team.
