Job summary

BePositive Therapy is expanding its Behaviour Support team in Tasmania and seeking practitioners at various career stages. You will manage your own NDIS caseload, deliver PBS, and collaborate with families and professionals to achieve meaningful client outcomes.

We offer flexible work arrangements including in-community, office, and work-from-home options, with mentoring and supervision to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Allied Health, or related field.
• Experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or in disability/related sectors.
• Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and person-centred practice.
• Experience developing behaviour support plans or similar assessments.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Independent and collaborative working style.
• Senior applicants: supervision or clinical leadership experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own NDIS caseload and deliver person-centred PBS.
• Conduct functional behaviour assessments.
• Develop and implement behaviour support plans.
• Participate in clinical supervision and multidisciplinary case conferences.
• Communicate with clients, families, carers, and support coordinators.
• Flexible in-community visits, office, and work-from-home options.
• Provide mentoring or clinical guidance to practitioners (senior level).
