Job summary

Community Living Options is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our Clinical Team at the Edwardstown office. You’ll develop and implement evidence-based strategies to improve quality of life, work with families and support teams, and reduce restrictive practices through high‑quality PBS.

You will benefit from supervision, professional development, and a clear career progression within a small, collaborative PBS team. A driver’s licence and NDIS screening are required.

Qualifications

• NDIS PBS Practitioner qualification recognised under the NDIS framework.
• Experience developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
• Experience conducting functional behavioural assessments and analysis.
• Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Driver's licence and NDIS Worker Screening clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive functional behaviour assessments and analyses.
• Develop, implement and review Behaviour Support Plans.
• Deliver individualised PBS and skill-building interventions.
• Provide coaching and implementation support to frontline teams.
• Collaborate with participants, families and allied health professionals.
• Support reduction of restrictive practices in line with NDIS requirements.
• Monitor data to inform clinical decisions and service improvements.
• Contribute to clinical projects and quality assurance activities.
• Facilitate participant engagement to ensure person-centred services.
