Private Advertiser is seeking a warm, confident Medical Receptionist to join our specialist general practices in Maroubra and North Bondi. You will be the first friendly face, delivering a welcoming, professional patient experience across two locations.

Role involves managing appointments, patient enquiries and payments, with support for doctors and nurses in a busy clinic. Casual hours with potential for permanent part-time and above award pay rates offered.

Qualifications

• Previous medical reception experience essential.
• Warm, friendly and genuinely enjoys helping people.
• Confident and professional communication style.
• Organised, reliable and able to multitask.
• Keeps calm in a busy environment with attention to detail.
• Familiar with privacy and patient confidentiality.
• Experience with Best Practice is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and assisting patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Managing appointments, patient enquiries and phone calls.
• Processing payments and private billing.
• Supporting doctors and nurses with the smooth running of sessions.
• Maintaining accurate patient information and confidentiality.
• Handling a variety of administrative tasks in a busy practice.
• Collaborating with reception, nursing and medical teams.
