Job summary

Placed Recruitment seeks a dynamic BDM for a boutique hotel in NSW to drive commercial growth, focusing on corporate groups and overnight stays. You will own the events strategy, host on-site and build relationships with local partners to fill midweek and weekend demand.

With autonomy from owners and a fast-moving, privately owned property, you’ll shape the scope of the role and the venue’s commercial direction from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and events within boutique or regional hotels.
• Proven ability to convert opportunities into commercial growth.
• Experience selling residential conferences and day delegate business.
• Ability to host on the floor and sell.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial growth by targeting corporate groups staying overnight.
• Develop residential conferences and midweek business.
• Build relationships with local community and event partners.
• Represent the venue front of house during busy periods.
• Own the commercial strategy with autonomy from owners.
