Minor Hotels in the Hunter Valley is seeking a passionate Business Development Manager – Weddings & Social Events to drive growth of our events business at Avani Cypress Lakes Resort. You’ll blend sales leadership with hands-on event delivery to position the resort as a premier destination for celebrations.

As BDM, you’ll own weddings and social events from strategy to execution, build lasting client relationships, and lead premium events on-site, collaborating across departments to ensure

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in wedding or event sales and management.
• Proven ability to secure new business and hit sales targets.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings for events.

Responsibilities
