Soho House is seeking a Bar Manager in Adelaide to lead the bar operation, oversee service delivery, staff performance, product selection, and financial results while reflecting the club’s quality and atmosphere. You will coach and develop the team, partner with Food & Beverage and Events, and ensure signature cocktails and large-scale events meet the highest standards.

The role demands a calm, guest-first approach in a fast-paced, luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain composure under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests.
• Demonstrate competency as outlined in training schedules and Club School.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive exceptional service standards by refining systems that enhance member, guest, and staff experiences.
• Lead engaging training sessions on Soho House food and drink programs through storytelling and demos.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless guest interactions and brand consistency.
• Support recruitment by identifying talent needs and participating in interviews.
• Ensure maximum revenue from all sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness standards and health and safety compliance.
• Oversee Mystery Shopper Reports and staff development.
• Participate in management team meetings and decision making.
• Delegate shifts and beverage methods to staff while maintaining quality.
• Uphold standards of appearance, safety, and professionalism.
