Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Banqueting.
• Solid understanding of food cost control, production efficiency, and waste reduction.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A proactive attitude with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Confidence in supporting and guiding junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain impeccable hygiene and food safety standards across all kitchen operations.
• Uphold and actively promote portion control, quality control, and waste minimisation practices.
• Support the delivery of exceptional food experiences for daily service, peak periods, and special events.
• Collaborate across multiple kitchen outlets to ensure seamless and efficient operations.
• Monitor food quality, storage, and stock levels in line with established procedures.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared in accordance with standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Assist in training, mentoring, and developing junior kitchen team members.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with WHS standards.
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and high-performing kitchen culture.
