B.P. Margetts Pty Ltd T/A Boutique Bread in Cavan, SA is hiring an experienced baker to join our team. You will bake traditional, high-quality bread from scratch using Aussie wheat and deliver products our customers love.

Responsibilities include producing bread and grill items, weighing ingredients, operating bakery equipment, mentoring apprentices, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety and efficiency daily.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III with at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV.
• At least three years of relevant experience to substitute the asking formal qualifications.
• At least three years of experience as baker.

• Adhere to cleaning schedules and health and safety policies.
• Provide high standard of service to customers and maintain team relationships.

B.P. Margetts Pty Ltd T/A Boutique Bread, based in Cavan, SA, has a unique opportunity for a skilled, Qualified, and experienced baker to join their team.

As a baker with boutique bread, you will be baking traditional and quality bread made from scratch using 100% Aussie Wheat and delivering products that our customers have grown to love.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality bread and Grill products. Adept at recording all daily production information Calculate and weigh ingredients for all dough types of Mix, scale and mold all bakery products.


• Proficient in the use of the oven.


• Operate bakery equipment and machinery in a safe manner.


• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and personal presentation by Bakeries’ guidelines.


• Manage spoilage, turnover, and inventory of stocks including raw ingredients and goods as per company guidelines as instructed by the Store Manager.


• Supervise train and mentor Baking Apprentices.


• Comply with daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and routines Complete baking duties in a timely manner with minimal supervision Strictly observe all Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.


• Always provide a high standard of service to customers Maintain a clean and tidy appearance including uniforms Maintain a good working relationship with fellow team members Must works well as part of a team.


• Must have excellent time management skills.
