Bakers Delight Berowra in NSW invites an experienced Baker to join our team, producing high-quality artisan breads while upholding safety and customer service standards.

This role offers a full-time position with ongoing training, a supportive environment and opportunities to advance within the Bakers Delight network. You will work early mornings in a busy production bakery, collaborating with a skilled team to meet daily targets and deliver premium products.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time baking experience.
• AQF Certificate III in Baking or equivalent is highly regarded.
• Experience in a commercial bakery environment.
• Strong knowledge of bread production techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, knead, ferment and bake a variety of breads.
• Measure and prepare ingredients per production recipes.
• Monitor dough quality to ensure consistency and quality.
• Operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all products meet Bakers Delight quality standards.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise waste.
• Collaborate with the bakery team to meet daily targets.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment and areas.

Bakers Delight Berowra is seeking an experienced and motivated Baker to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, knead, ferment and bake a variety of breads and bakery products.
• Measure and prepare ingredients in accordance with production recipes and specifications.
• Monitor dough quality throughout the production process to ensure consistency and product quality.
• Operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all products meet Bakers Delight quality standards and production specifications.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in minimising product waste.
• Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet daily production targets and requirements.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment, utensils and work areas.

Requirements

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Minimum one (1) year of relevant full-time experience as a Baker.
• Relevant baking qualification, such as Certificate III in Baking or equivalent, is highly regarded.
• Previous experience working in a commercial bakery environment.
• Strong knowledge of bread production techniques and bakery processes.
• Ability to work early morning shifts and meet production schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing consistent, high-quality products.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements
AQF Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification OR minimum 3–5 years’ relevant commercial baking experience At least 2 years’ post-qualification or equal industry experience Proven experience in artisan and commercial bread production Strong understanding of dough fermentation, baking processes, and quality control Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and under pressure Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
