Job summary

Accenture PLC is seeking a seasoned AWS Business Group Mid‑Market Sales Executive for US companies. You will drive sales growth by developing and closing new opportunities with AWS customers, interfacing with CIOs/CTOs and partnering with technical architects to close transactions.

Role requires extensive AWS cloud experience, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to meet aggressive quarterly and annual targets. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of B2B sales experience selling complex cloud solutions and/or DevOps consulting.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience selling AWS, and related services is required.
• Minimum of 5 years deep Industry experience in one or more of the following industries: Financial Services, Resources, CMT, or Health
• Proven track record of sourcing and closing $500K+ ARR deals successfully.
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in direct sales with quota, preferably in excess of $7M+
• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (12 years) or an Associate’s Degree with 6 years of work experience

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with Mid-Market Direct Customers from the C-Suite to Area Leader
• Managed and nurture relationships with Clients and AWS
• Drive net new customer acquisition and scale existing client base in the Accenture Mid‑Market Direct customer segment
• Coordinate closely lead generation providers, solutioning team and Technical Architects
• Engage with AWS, and other partners at the tactical and strategic level across their Sales, Solution Architect, and Partner Teams
• Meeting quarterly and yearly sales targets for the segment
