Job summary

Norths Leagues & Services Club is seeking a qualified Chef to join our award-winning dining team in Queensland. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced kitchen while delivering exceptional dishes across our venues.

You’ll bring a recognised culinary qualification or equivalent, at least two years’ professional kitchen experience, and a commitment to food safety, quality and teamwork. Norths supports career growth and a positive kitchen culture.

Qualifications

• Recognised culinary qualification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years in a professional kitchen.
• Strong passion for food, flavour, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes to our established standards.
• Maintaining exceptional food quality, consistency, portion control and presentation across all services.
• Working efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety legislation, hygiene standards and safe food-handling practices.
• Managing food preparation, storage, freezing, preservation and stock rotation in accordance with procedures.
• Working collaboratively with fellow Chefs, kitchen leadership and front-of-house teams to deliver seamless service.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
• Contributing ideas, supporting continuous improvement and helping create a positive, professional kitchen culture.
