Job summary

Qantas Network Aviation is seeking a Risk and Systems Officer to support the administration, compliance and ongoing oversight of our Safety Management System and risk processes. You will maintain records, review data and coordinate with teams to keep safety and risk on track.

This hands-on role suits an organised, detail-focused communicator who enjoys working with systems and people to support safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in safety, risk, systems, assurance or operational support.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with risk management frameworks, risk documentation and action management processes.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and provide meaningful insights.
• Experience preparing reports, governance materials, procedures and communications.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, collaboration and influencing skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Knowledge of aviation and occupational safety legislation, standards and codes of practice.
• Year 12 qualification, with safety-related qualifications highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in strengthening safety, risk and compliance across Network Aviation.
• Drive risk insights, governance and continuous improvement initiatives that support safe operations.
• Join the Qantas Group and help build a proactive safety culture across a growing aviation business.
• Maintain records and actions, review system data, monitor requirements and work closely with teams across the business to keep safety and risk processes on track.
