Job summary

Network Aviation, part of the Qantas Group, is seeking a Risk and Systems Officer to support the administration, compliance and oversight of our Safety Management System (SMS) and risk management processes. Reporting to the Manager Safety Systems, this role involves coordinating records, monitoring data and engaging with teams to keep safety and risk activities on track.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a safety, risk, systems, assurance or operational support role.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Experience with risk management frameworks, risk documentation and action management processes.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and provide meaningful insights.
• Experience preparing reports, governance materials, procedures and communications.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, collaboration and influencing skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as SharePoint.
• Knowledge of aviation and occupational safety legislation, standards and codes of practice.
• Year 12 qualification, with safety-related qualifications highly regarded.
