Job summary

Network Aviation, part of the Qantas Group, is looking for a Risk and Systems Officer to support SMS administration, risk management, and ongoing governance across the Network Group. You will maintain records, review system data, monitor requirements and collaborate with teams to keep safety and risk processes on track.

This role suits an organised, detail-focused communicator who enjoys systems, data and people to support safe operations. A strong aviation safety background is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a safety, risk, systems, assurance or operational support role.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with risk management frameworks, risk documentation and action management processes.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and provide meaningful insights.
• Experience preparing reports, governance materials, procedures and communications.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, collaboration and influencing skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as SharePoint.
• Knowledge of aviation and occupational safety legislation, standards and codes of practice.
• Year 12 qualification, with safety-related qualifications highly regarded
