Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Australia is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of aviation infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring safe, compliant outcomes with minimal disruption to airport operations.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget and quality across the full lifecycle, coordinate consultants and contractors, and drive risk management and stakeholder engagement within a collaborative project environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering construction and infrastructure projects, preferably within the aviation sector.
• Strong knowledge of Australian building regulations, relevant standards, and aviation industry requirements.
• Contract administration, contractor management, procurement and commercial management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery: Manage projects through the full lifecycle, delivering scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives.
• Planning & Development: Define project scope, prepare business cases, and support funding and approval processes.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for approvals and operational constraints.
• Procurement & Contracts: Lead consultant and contractor procurement, contract administration, change management, and commercial oversight.
• Construction & Risk Management: Oversee site activities, manage project risks, ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards.
