Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Australia is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end aviation infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring safety, compliance and minimal disruption to airport operations.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget and quality; develop business cases; oversee procurement and contract administration; and engage stakeholders across internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction and infrastructure projects, preferably within the aviation sector.
• Sound knowledge of Australian building regulations, relevant standards, and aviation industry requirements.
• Proven capability in contract administration, contractor management, procurement and commercial management.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a collaborative project environment.

Job Description

As a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of aviation infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring safe, compliant and successful outcomes with minimal impact on airport operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Project Delivery: Manage projects through the full lifecycle, delivering scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives.
• Planning & Development: Define project scope, prepare business cases, and support funding and approval processes.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements, approvals and operational constraints are effectively managed.
