Job summary

Verve Partners in Newcastle is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial construction projects from pre-construction through handover. You will drive delivery, manage budgets and lead site teams to meet quality and safety standards.

You will liaise with clients, coordinate subcontractors and maintain strong relationships across the project, while ensuring timely reporting and compliance with WHS policies.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience within commercial and/or industrial/structural construction.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules and sub-contractors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Sound understanding of WHS requirements and quality assurance standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparing daily programming and managing project schedules, budgets and resources.
• Interpreting client needs and maintaining strong client relationships throughout delivery.
• Overseeing quality control, including inspections against plans and building codes.
• Managing changes to scope, schedule and costs, including variations and claims.
• Coordinating and managing sub-contractors and site personnel.
• Producing progress reports and administrative documentation as required.
