Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
• Strong programming/scheduling ability under pressure.
• Experience in budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
• Ability to manage the full project lifecycle independently.
• Outstanding communication with clients, consultants and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle: feasibility, design development, approvals, procurement, construction, and close-out.
• Develop and maintain project programs, proactively identifying and resolving delays.
• Manage project budgets and cost control, including variations, progress claims, and forecasting.
• Coordinate consultants (architects, engineers, building surveyors) and manage contractor performance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear, proactive communication throughout delivery.
• Manage procurement and contract administration, including tendering and contractor engagement.
• Oversee compliance with building codes, fire services, WHS, and body corporate requirements where applicable.
• Identify and manage project risk, escalating issues early.
